Hartest Institute, Hartest, Suffolk
The Village Hall was enlarged, re-planned and restored to its original splendour with the help of a generous Lottery grant.
Original details were uncovered in archives of Sir Reginald Blomfields work, and most of the original joinery details were re-instated from this information. Paint replaced dark stained wood to give the building a more contemporary edge.
