West Road Church, Bury St Edmunds
The church replaced a 1950's shed and was fully funded by the church community. Construction was also by members of the community.
The building is an early exampled of sustainable architecture with a novel ventilation system which draws air through the floor void and delivers it into the building pre-warmed. Extraction through two roof cowls ensures a continuous flow of fresh air to the space.
