Untreated timber cladding
Timber is one hundred per cent sustainable, beautiful and from a managed woodland near you. It is a natural building material that will last many decades, sometimes centuries with the right choice of species, correct detailing, sensible construction and appropriate maintenance. It is the most commonly used and understood material there is on earth.
Timber building technology imported from Britain to America in the seventeenth century and developed over the next three hundred years is now returning to the UK. By combining American technologies with the latest thinking from Scandinavia and Australia we are able to produce highly innovative timber structures.
Our understanding and working experience of climate change mitigation and adaption design emphasises the need to use the only sustainable material there is: timber.
